YEAR'S
TRIP

My husband and I went on a trip on New Year's Day. We planned to have a Christmas Party on the 21st of December in 2024 with my family, however, we canceled it because I got the flu. We were also going to have our 5th anniversary date and my mom was going to take our daughter to their house. Instead, we decided to go on a trip to Mie.

SHOPPING STREET

We dropped our daughter at my parents' house and headed to Tsuruhashi station to switch to the train to Mie. We had an hour and a half before the train arrived, so we explored around the station. Surrounding the station was Tsuruhashi Shopping Street, which is Osakas KoreaTown. It was old and very interesting.

ISE JINGU &

OKAGE YOKOCHO

We got off the train at "Iseshi" station and stayed at a hotel for one night to visit the "Ise Jingu", which is the most famous and popular shrine to visit in Japan. We woke up at about 6 oclock, partook of the complimentary breakfast, and left the hotel. After visiting Geku, we caught the bus and went to Naiku. There were so many people there but we didnt wait to pray, and I was so glad to visit the Ise Jingu with my husband. We enjoyed taking photos at Okage Yokocho after exploring Naiku.

STAYED AT VISON

STAYED AT VISON

After visiting "Ise Jingu", we went to VISON by bus to stay a night there. It is focused on food, so there were a lot of shops, which sold only soy sauce, only mirin, only vinegar, or only miso, and restaurants. We ate some small food for lunch and shopped until the check-in time. I went to the HONZO Spa to relax after checking in. It was nice but the water was very hot, so I couldnt stay very long. We had a nice dinner at a Spanish restaurant and enjoyed a light-up show The Prince Under the Moon and the Festival of Mysteries.

MATSUSAKA CASTLE RUINS

We headed to Matsusaka Station to return to Osaka. Before getting on the train, we explored the Matsusaka Castle Ruins. I didnt know anything about Matsusaka City except for Matsusaka beef, but it was a nice photo walk. We bought Ekiben for lunch and ate on the train back. This was our first trip without our daughter, and we relaxed and enjoyed it very much. Many thanks to my parents for taking care of our kid!
